MSD of Mt. Vernon is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Second Shift Custodian to join the staff at Mt. Vernon Junior High School. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is dependable, works well independently and as part of a team, and understands that the condition of our schools has a direct impact on the experience of our students and staff.

Work Environment

This is a second-shift position located at Mt. Vernon Junior High School. The position requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and the use of custodial equipment.

Previous custodial experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate the work ethic, dependability, and attitude necessary to be successful.
