Valid Indiana Teacher's License preferred; interest in this activity.  Minimum of two (2) years experience in aquatic programs and a competitive swimming background.  Must demonstrate capacity to supervise both a competitive and an instructional swim program.  Have and maintain certification in Red Cross WSI, CPR, and First Aid. 

 

Plans, implements, and maintains various aquatic programs for physical education classes and community recreational events in a safe, organized manner.  Serves as the head coach for high school boys' and girls' swim teams.  Supports and enforces policies, rules, procedures, and philosophies of the IHSAA, Pocket Athletic Conference, and the MVHS Athletic Department.

 

Effective Date:  2026-27 School Year/Season

 

Salary:  $12,000 per school year/season (ECA stipend total for Boys' Head Swim Coach SH and Girls' Head Swim coach SH)
