Assists students in need of services to attain educational and social development to their highest level by assisting the teacher and school in relating to the students, intervening with parents in the home environment, and securing assistance from appropriate social service agencies. 

 

Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in social work, teacher education, behavioral psychology, or related study. Experience in at least one of these ares is required. Interest in and ability to work with K-5 students, their families, and professional school personnel. Also broad knowledge of various social/psychological agencies and their personnel is preferred. 

 

NOTE: This is a 193 days/year position. Starting salary listed is based on 193 days worked in a school year and will be pro-rated based on actual days worked for the remainder of the school year.
